Regardless of which team used them, all 10 Pok\u00e9mon that gave their all in a match will automatically become unselectable for the rest of the series.<\/p>\n<p>This rule requires trusting in a wide variety of Pok\u00e9mon to secure victory, rather than relying on a select few. These have been buffed. Additionally, Shadow Claw&#8217;s damage has been buffed and its Unite Move energy requirement lowered, reducing the likelihood of Zoroark jumping into the enemy team, failing to secure a KO, and being knocked out in return.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u3010Clefable\u3011<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Heal Pulse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Healing amount: 15% Increase<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Moonlight<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Cooldown: 8.5s \u2192 8s<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Unite Move: Wonder Wish<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">HP Recovery: 25% of missing HP \u2192 30% of missing HP<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">To improve Clefable&#8217;s early-game support capabilities, Heal Pulse&#8217;s healing has been buffed. Additionally, the cooldown of Moonlight has been lowered and the healing of its Unite Move has been buffed, allowing it to survive and support allies more effectively in the late game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u3010Blastoise\u3011<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Hydro Pump<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Cooldown: 5.5s \u2192 6s<br \/>\nDamage: 8% Decrease<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Surf<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Cooldown: 7s \u2192 7.5s<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Blastoise maintained a very high win rate due to its long-lasting crowd control and high damage output, which allowed it to win damage trades too frequently. Its move cooldowns and damage have been nerfed to bring it back in line.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u3010Mega Charizard X\u3011<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Ability: Solar Power<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">HP Recovery when landing a basic attack on a burned opposing Pok\u00e9mon: 3% of missing HP \u2192 2%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Ability: Tough Claws<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">HP Recovery when landing a basic attack on a burned opposing Pok\u00e9mon: 6% of missing HP \u2192 4%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Mega Charizard X&#8217;s healing capabilities while Mega Evolved were too high, making it extremely difficult to knock out even when focused by multiple opponents. To balance this against its massive offensive power, its healing has been nerfed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u3010Ceruledge\u3011<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Bitter Blade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Damage: 5% Decrease<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Phantom Force+<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Cooldown: 7s \u2192 8s<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The upgraded cooldown for Phantom Force was too short considering the powerful invulnerability it provides, so the cooldown has been nerfed. Additionally, the previous damage buff to Bitter Blade increased its healing too much, making Ceruledge stronger than intended. Its damage has been nerfed slightly to balance this out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u3010Greninja\u3011<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Basic Attack<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Adjustment: When landing basic attacks (including boosted attacks) on wild Pok\u00e9mon at close range, the damage cap previously applied to the total basic attack damage. This has been changed so the damage cap now applies specifically to the additional damage based on the target&#8217;s remaining HP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Surf<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Damage: 10% Decrease<br \/>\nHealing amount: 8% Decrease<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Double Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Illusion damage: 20.5% of Greninja&#8217;s damage \u2192 15%<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Following previous durability buffs, Greninja was able to secure knockouts with Surf too consistently, leading to an overly high win rate. To balance it against other Pok\u00e9mon, the damage and healing of Surf, as well as the damage of Double Team, have been nerfed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u3010Psyduck\u3011<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u2022 Psychic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px;\">Cooldown: 6.5s \u2192 7s<br \/>\nHitbox duration: 0.45s \u2192 0.33s<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The hitbox for Psychic occasionally lingered and hit opponents even after the move&#8217;s visual effects disappeared. The hitbox duration has been nerfed to match the visual effects.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Bug Fixes<\/h3>\n<p>The following bugs have been fixed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2022 Fixed an issue where Zapdos could instantly score twice on a broken goal using its Unite Move.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fixed an issue on the Nintendo Switch version where selecting Move Set 2 in the Draft Mode prep screen prevented Zapdos from learning Thunderbolt and Zap Cannon.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fixed an issue where the pause in movement during evolution was shorter for Empoleon, Vaporeon, and Sirfetch&#8217;d compared to other Pok\u00e9mon.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fixed an issue where Machamp&#8217;s Submission did not trigger the effect of Vanguard Bell upon hitting an opposing Pok\u00e9mon.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fixed an issue where Metagross&#8217;s Zen Headbutt failed to deal damage or knockback when hitting an opposing Pok\u00e9mon through a thick wall.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fixed an issue where Zacian&#8217;s Unite Move, Sovereign Sword, allowed the aiming direction to be manually selected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Update Date\/Time] 2026-04-16 at 07:00 UTC [Update Details] A new battle pass season has started!
